The “pillar project” for the digital transformation of the e-EFKA was presented today at an event held in the EBEA hall, in the presence of the Minister of Labor and Social Security, Adonis Georgiadis, the Deputy Minister of Labour, Panos Tsakloglou, the Secretary General of Social Insurance, Nikos Milapidis, the commander of e-EFKA, Alexandros Varveris and the agency’s deputy commanders, Panagiotis Kokkoris and Nikolaos Kourdakis.

The emblematic project “digitization of the insurance history of the e-EFKA” is financed by the Recovery Fund, has a budget of 33.2 million euros and concerns the inclusion of the official documents, before 2002, in the electronic system.

As stated in a relevant announcement, the digitization process is directly related to the acceleration of the awarding of pensions, as, with the digitization of official documents, the reasons for the delays to date will disappear.

The completion of the digitization of the entire e-EFKA file and the digitization of the insurance history of thousands of insured citizens will contribute to the creation of the necessary conditions that will prevent the re-accumulation of pending pension applications.

The aim of the management of e-EFKA is to create a citizen-friendly body, flexible and adapted to the dynamics of the requirements of the modern era.
