Climate activists from the organization “Letzte Generation” once again painted the Brandenburg Gate today, using brushes and orange paint.

On the eastern side of the most important monument to German reunification, scaffolding is still in place as restoration work is underway from the activists’ previous “action” in the summer.

Today the target was the west side.

In a statement on the “X” platform, “Last Generation” writes: “The Brandenburg Gate remains orange! We returned again with flying colors to the Brandenburg Gate. As long as Germany burns oil, gas and lignite, we will be back. It is a memorial for the countless people who have paid and will pay with their lives for our hesitation.”
