To the adverse weather conditions that prevailed in the sea area of Aegina (8 to 9 Beaufort), the ship-owning company of the ship “Achaios” attributes the non-morning disembarkation of all passengers at the port as well as the breakage of a glass pane that occurred in the ship’s salon.

During the voyage to the port of Aegina a pane of glass was broken, due to the vibrations, in the passenger compartment of the ship without injury.

However, due to the strong waves and adverse conditions that prevailed, the stay of the ship and the safe disembarkation of passengers and vehicles was not possible and therefore, in consultation with the port authority, it was decided to leave the port and after a period of stay waiting for the weather to improve, return to Piraeus.
