The ntantades.gov.gr platform for the “Neighborhood Babysitters” program has opened and now parents who wish to participate in the program can submit an application.

The program concerns the home care of infants and toddlers aged between 2 months and 2.5 years and provides for financial support for parents who choose a caregiver from the Registry of Caregivers created on the platform.

The right to participate in the program

The right to participate in the program has mothers and fathers, natural, adoptive or foster parents who work either in the public or private sector (and self-employed and freelancers). As well as unemployed mothers, natural, adoptive or foster mothers who are registered in the DYPA registers.

The annual personal income of the interested parties must not exceed the amount of 24,000 euros and they must not be under the status of maternity leave or paternity leave or leave to raise a child. And of course the residence address of the beneficiaries must be within the municipalities participating in the pilot implementation of the action.

The beneficiaries of the program who work full-time or are freelancers or self-employed, will receive 500 euros per month, while 300 euros per month will be received by unemployed mothers and beneficiaries who work part-time or receive, through another action, a voucher for participation in nurseries stations or similar structures.

The Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family lists 15 questions and answers regarding the program:

Q: Who is eligible to participate in order to receive a “Placement Value” (voucher)?

A.: Eligible to participate are:

a) natural mothers/fathers, adoptive or foster parents, or any person who has been assigned, by court decision or prosecutorial order, the exclusive custody of an infant or toddler, who work either in the public or private sector, in any form of employment, including and of the self-employed and freelancers and

b) natural, adoptive or foster mothers, with an infant or toddler, who are registered in the registers of the Ministry of the Interior. as unemployed.

ð It is pointed out that pensioners cannot be beneficiaries of the Action as they do not fall into the above categories.

Q.: What are the conditions of participation to receive a “voucher”?

A.: To qualify as a beneficiary and receive a voucher, you must:

a. Your annual personal income does not exceed the amount of €24,000 for the tax year 2022 (for income earned from 01/01/2022 to 31/12/2022).

b. Be employed or unemployed registered in the DYPA registers (Caution! unemployment applies only to the mother who submits an application).

c. Not be under the status of maternity leave or paternity leave or child-rearing leave or parental leave or special maternity protection provision of article 36 of Law 4808/2021 (Government Gazette/A/101) or not have interrupted or suspended your professional activity.

d. Have a minor child between the ages of two (2) months and two (2) years and six (6) months.

e. Your residential address must be within the Municipalities participating in the Pilot implementation of the Action.

Q: How and when can I apply?

A.: The submission of the application: Ø It is only done electronically, through the website of the Action ntantades.gov.gr. There you will find detailed instructions for submitting and completing the application.

It can be done between 22/11/2023 and 30/9/2024, during which the relevant application will be active, and until the available budget is exhausted.

Please note that if you wish to receive a voucher for more than one of your children between the ages of 2 months and two years and six months, you must submit a separate application for each child.

Q: What is the voucher amount covered by the program?

A.: The amount of the “voucher” amounts to:

a) €500 per month, if you work full-time or are self-employed or self-employed,

the

b) €300 per month, if you work part-time or on a rotating basis or are registered as unemployed in the unemployment register of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. (unemployment applies only to the mother who submits an application) or you receive, through another action, a voucher for participation in nurseries or similar structures.

ATTENTION: In the event that you are registered as unemployed in the Unemployment Register of the Ministry of the Interior, the duration of the “voucher” cannot exceed three (3) months, with the right to use the “voucher” for another three (3) months months in case of renewal of the unemployment card.

Q: How will I be informed about the evaluation of my application?

A.: After submitting your application, the submitted information and supporting documents are checked for any discrepancies, deficiencies or incompatibilities. Shortly after the completion of the check, you will be informed via e-mail about the progress of your application, to the e-mail address you have registered in the National Contact Register.

Q: If my application is rejected, can I re-apply?

A.: In the event that during the review of your application inconsistencies, deficiencies or incompatibilities are found, you will be informed by e-mail of the required corrections and the relevant link to view the application and correct any errors.

You will then resubmit the application once and for all and be notified by e-mail of its successful correction.

Q: Can I make changes to the declared details of my application once I have submitted it?

A.: Throughout the pilot implementation of the Action, you reserve the right to access your personal data and the submitted supporting documents, in order to correct or update them, by entering your application from the online address https://ntantades.gov. gr/.

It is pointed out that any change in the terms of the private agreement, regarding the place or time of service provision, must be declared in the Information System, in accordance with the instructions provided therein.

Q.: How do I choose a curator?

A.: After the approval of your application, you will be given the right to access the profile of the available curators who serve your area, through the Action Information System ntantades.gov.gr. Thus, you will have the possibility to get in touch with them and launch the cooperation between you.

During the process of searching and communicating with curators, you have no obligation to inform the information system or our organization about your actions.

Q: What information is included in the curators’ profile?

A.: The details included in the profile of the caretakers are: name, contact details, area of ​​activity, category of services they provide (in their home or in the child’s home or both), professional training, photo and CV with additional details of their personal and professional situation, if they wish.

In the event that the Caretaker provides the services in her/his home, the profile will also show the number of adult cohabitants, as well as her/his relationship with them.

Q: How do I activate the voucher?

A.: After choosing and coming to an agreement with the curator, you will submit a request to the Information System of the Action for the granting of a “Placement Value” (voucher).

Afterwards, through the Information System, you will conclude a private agreement with the curator, in which the individual terms of your cooperation (terms of service provision) will be defined under your responsibility.

Only then is the “voucher” considered active and it is possible to start providing services.

Q: How will I be paid the voucher amount?

A.: To receive the voucher amount, at the end of each month of service, it is required:

a. to pay the agreed fee to the Curator, issuing a receipt,

b. post the copy of the work order, for the corresponding period of time, in the Information System of the Action, and

c. to declare responsibly in the Information System of the Action, in the field “Responsible Declaration of Acceptance of the services” that the agreed services were provided by the Curator.

Once the verification of the submitted supporting documents is completed and the required actions are taken, the amount of the “voucher” will be paid to the bank account you have indicated to us.

Note: The monthly payment may change if the days of services provided are less than one month.

Q: Can I stop working with a curator and choose another?

A.: In case you stop your cooperation or do not use the provided services of the curator, you are obliged to declare the termination of the agreement, through the Information System, within 10 days.

In case you want to change curator, a new agreement is required through the Information System.

The “voucher” maintains its validity for the remaining time until the end of the implementation of the Action’s pilot application.

Q: How is the personal data contained in my application protected?

A.: Your personal data is protected in accordance with Law 4624/2019 (Government Gazette 137/A/2019) “Personal Data Protection Principle, implementing measures of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27 2016 for the protection of natural persons against the processing of personal data and incorporation into national legislation of Directive (EU) 2016/680 of the European Parliament and of the Council of April 27, 2016 and other provisions”, as each time applicable.
