“None alone” must reach everywhere. To every woman who is threatened, to every woman who is abused,” the message reads
“No one alone” must reach everywhere. To every woman who is threatened, to every woman who is abused. The Panic Button extends to other areas, offering immediate safety and protection to those women who feel at risk”, the Greek Government says in a message, on the occasion of the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women which is celebrated today.
With a video posted on the “Î…X” account and starring Maria Korinthiou, the government focuses on the Panic Button app and the 15900 helpline.

“The abuse of a woman is not like in the movies and the theater. It is not visible to viewers. True oppression happens invisibly, behind closed doors, without others seeing. Every next time you hope that it will be different, only to be hit again, violence, humiliation, fear that paralyzes you” is the message conveyed by Maria Korinthiou.
