New president of the Court of Auditorsone of the country’s three highest courts, chose the cabinet following a proposal by the competent Minister of Justice Giorgos Floridis.

The new president of the supreme court Sotiria Dounis held the rank of vice president until today at the Court of Auditors and will remain in the position of head of the Court for four years.

He succeeded Ioannis Sharmasuccessful by common confession president of the Court of Auditors who was also before the recent parliamentary elections and interim prime minister.

Sotiria Dounis was chosen by the cabinet after the recommendation of Mr. Floridis based on the evaluation of her essential qualifications while in addition, it holds the first place in the judicial yearbook.

He has been serving at the Court of Auditors since 1989 and has risen through all the ranks of the judicial hierarchy. Her scientific training combined with her commitment to her judicial duties characterize the new president who takes over the Court after an extremely successful term in its presidency by Mr. Sharma.
