The Minister of Citizen Protection, Yiannis Oikonomou, in a post on social media, congratulated ELAS officials for the dismantling of a criminal organization that committed bank ATM burglaries.

“Congratulations to the men and women of the Greek Police for the dismantling of the criminal organization that committed bank ATM burglaries in various regions of the Territory, with a total loot of over 700,000 euros.
ELAS, with a well-organized plan, proceeded to solve yet another important case, sending a resounding message that it suppresses criminal and delinquent activities and protects the citizen, with dedication to duty and self-sacrifice.”
