From today, Tuesday, December 5, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. until Tuesday, December 12, 2023, at 11:59 p.m., online applications will be submitted for participation in the new online modern training program, entitled “Cloud Practitioner Essentials AWS”, for 1,000 unemployed people .
The action is implemented in the context of the cooperation between the Public Employment Service (DYPA) and Amazon Web Services (AWS), with the aim of undertaking joint actions to effectively address the digital divide in the labor market and strengthen the digital economy.
The program, with a total duration of eight training hours, is offered free of charge by AWS, as part of its corporate social responsibility, while its implementation will be carried out through the official educational institution for Greece, OTE Academy (Amazon Training Partner).
Content covers AWS Cloud concepts, AWS services, security, architecture, pricing, and support to build the knowledge required for cloud computing certification and careers.
Participants will be awarded a certificate of attendance upon completion of the program.
Specifically, 1,000 unemployed people, aged 18-60, graduates of higher education, regardless of specialization or secondary or post-secondary education in IT specialties, with knowledge of the English language (level B2), will benefit, according to the conditions of the call for expression of interest, which is posted on DYPA website.

After completing the submission of the applications, their evaluation will follow and then an informative e-mail will be sent to the beneficiaries regarding their final selection in the program, as well as instructions for the registration and monitoring procedures.
