The incident happened on Friday night, in Karaiskaki square, in Ano Kalamaki – A student in the hospital
A group of high school students, in Alimos, was attacked by a group of about 30 people.
Without any precedent, they started to chase them down the street and as a result punched and kicked two children.
In fact, one, with injuries to his face, was taken by EKAV ambulance to the “Aglaia Kyriakou” Children’s Hospital, to be given first aid.
The incident happened on Friday night, in Karaiskaki square, in Ano Kalamaki.
As the students said, the perpetrators were also minors from Argyroupoli.
The group from Alimos was sitting at the place where the statue of Karaiskakis is, when suddenly, a group of about 30 young people appeared from Eleftheriou Venizelou street.
They approached them and asked them if they are from Agios Dimitrios.
Apparently they had differences with other minors from the neighboring municipality that they frequent in Alimos.
Before the students could answer them that they are not from Agios Dimitrios, they started the attack.
Some of the children tried to escape, running down Ionia Avenue, in danger from passing cars.
The minor, who was taken to the hospital, entered a supermarket to escape their fury, but they followed him and continued to beat him inside the store.
“Everything happened in front of me,” a resident of the area tells Notia.gr. “They didn’t even flinch at my presence. There were many of them and they appeared suddenly. They beat the children and chased them in Ionia…”
The parents of the students who were hit will file a lawsuit and ask the police to review the footage captured by the supermarket’s cameras.
