The Deputy Minister of Finance had a meeting yesterday with representatives of the Professional Chamber
Within three months, the issue of uninsured vehicles will be finally resolved, as stated by the Deputy Minister of Finance Haris Theocharis in the meeting he had with representatives of the Professional Chamber and the unions from the insurance mediation sector.
This is stated in an announcement by the chamber on the occasion of yesterday’s meeting where issues concerning insurance mediation were discussed.
According to the announcement, the representatives of the Professional Chamber and the unions of the sector raised the following issues:
– POS for insurance agents (according to industry request, should not exist).
– The separation of part of the professionals of the mediation sector in the tax bill regarding the taxation of the self-employed.
– Also discussed was the issue of taxation of incomes received by retired insurance brokers and the tax relationship of brokerage agents (VAT).
As noted in the announcement, finally, the issue of uninsured vehicles was also discussed and “the deputy minister pledged that within three months it will be definitively resolved”.
