The deadline for submitting applications to the first aid platform for those affected by the September floods has been extended until January 12, 2024, according to an announcement by the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, and in particular by the office of Deputy Minister Christos Triantopoulos, who is responsible for natural disasters and state aid.

As pointed out in the first aid platform announcement, arogi.gov.grhas reopened as of Monday, December 11, 2023, so that beneficiaries from the September 2023 extreme floods can amend their application or re-apply.

At the same time, through AADE, a few days ago, a message was sent to the applicants who have not received first aid with detailed content as to the reasons why they were not entitled to it or the relevant procedure could not proceed, providing, at the same time, useful information for the next steps.

The announcement states that to date, during the second phase only 1,976 finalized applications have been made on the first aid platform, reaching 66,357 applications from 64,381 applications when the first phase closed.

Therefore, today it was decided to postpone the deadline for submitting applications, during the second phase, to January 12, 2024, so that other citizens can also submit the relevant applications.

Finally, it is noted that the Permanent Citizen Information Center of the General Secretariat for Natural Disaster Recovery and State Aid remains available to citizens. In particular, citizens can contact directly the telephone numbers of the General Secretariat for Natural Disaster Recovery and State Aid (213 1331300 | 08:00 – 18:00) and request specific information.
