“Together for the Children” offers 1,880 gifts to 1,520 children of child protection associations and vulnerable families, in an action that embraces all of Greece.
“Secret Santa” has been implemented since 2018 with the aim of ensuring that children are not left without a gift during the holiday season. Every year the list grows and more and more volunteers join this initiative.
Following the custom, the social service of “Together for the Child” collects children’s letters to Santa with their wishes. The recipients of the letter are none other than school students, company employees and individuals who actively participate in this initiative by taking on the role of “Secret Santa”, that is to buy the gifts that have been requested by the children.
This year, “Together for the Child”, with the valuable help of the volunteers, he collected 1,880 gifts in his warehouse, which were sent on time to various parts of our country, spreading smiles to 1,520 of our little friends.
Special holidays for little P and little M.
A large sack, closed with a red ribbon who writes his name on it was waiting for little P. at the front door of his house. His mother conveyed to us his excitement and indescribable joy when he discovered the gifts that were inside the “magical” bag: clothes, treats and many toys that he didn’t part with even in his sleep!
The father of little M. described the reactions of his 3-year-old daughter when she received her gifts. A permanent smile painted on her face, intense interest and the impatience of discovering her new toys, with which she fell asleep in her arms that same night.
