For revenge porn for posting material on a social media and violating personal data, a 47-year-old man was arrested in Thessaloniki by police officers of the Kastoria Security sub-directorate who published a total of 109 photos of a 44-year-old woman, many of which she was naked in, on her social media profile. The publication of the photos took place, according to the case filed against him, without the will of the 44-year-old, while it was also accompanied by abusive content in the context of her sexual life.

The 44-year-old man who was arrested in a hotel in Thessaloniki, during the arrest process, stated that earlier he had ingesting an unknown amount of pesticidesas a result of which it became necessary to transport him by EKAB ambulance to Papageorgiou General Hospital, where he is guarded.

At the expense of the 47-year-old a criminal case was filed for the offenses of revenge pornography, posting material on social media, violation of personal data, sexual indecency and defamation, which took place between 12-18-2023 and 12-21-2023, against a 44-year-old woman . In addition, as it was established, a total of five decisions of the three-member Criminal Courts of Kavala, Preveza, Katerinis, Xanthi and Edessa were pending against him, by which he was sentenced to a total prison sentence of five years and four months, as well as a fine of 1,500 euros, for fraud.

A preliminary investigation into the case was carried out by the Security department of the Kastoria Security sub-directorate.
