Gifts and wishes to children who are hospitalized by the Ministry of Health of Crete EMAK and the Fire Department
For another year, the Fire Service, the 3rd EMAK of Heraklion and the Firefighters Association of Heraklion “Three Children on the Road”, willingly responded to the call of the 7th Ministry of Health of Crete for the organization of a festive event at the Pediatric Hematology Clinic of PAGNI and the Pediatric Clinic of GNI “Venizelio- Pananeo”.
The event at PAGNI, with men from the service descending as flying Santa Clauses, as it is held every year with particular success offering precious moments of joy to hospitalized children and their families, but also to every patient and employee of the hospital, this year will take place on Thursday 28 December 2023 at 18.00 in the afternoon.
At the same time, the Mixed Choir of Greek Music of the Cultural Association of Agios Ioannis Hostos, directed by Mrs. Reppa Argyros, will sing Christmas songs, musically framing the event.
On Friday, December 29, 2023 at 18.00 in the afternoon, an event with illuminated firefighting vehicles and men of the Heraklion fire department dressed as Santa Clauses will also take place at G.N.I. “Venizelio-Pananeio” for the young patients of the Pediatric Clinic.
During the event in each hospital, gifts will be distributed to hospitalized children of the PaGNI Children’s Hematology Oncology Clinic, the Child Psychiatry and the Pediatric Clinic at the GNI Venizelio-Pananeio.
We would like to thank from the bottom of our hearts the Commander of the Fire Services of the Region of Crete Archipyrachro, Mr. Tsikalas Georgios, the Commander of the Fire Services of Heraklion Prefecture, Mr. Seliniotakis Michalis, the Commander of the 3rd EMAK, Deputy Fire Chief Stavros Kalogiannakis, the President and the members of the Heraklion Firefighters Association “Three Children on the Road”, Mr. Andreadaki Vassilis, for their cooperation with the 7th Ministry of Education of Crete.
But above all, we thank them for their daily contribution to humanity and the protection of life, as manifested in a different way in these events, by volunteering their time to be close to the children who are hospitalized during these festive days.
