The German Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office announced on Wednesday that three alleged Hamas members were arrested in Berlin. The arrested members of Hamas are suspected of “preparing a serious act of violence” by the German authorities.

The Federal Public Prosecutor’s Office accuses those arrested for the following:

Abed Al G., Wael FM and AHMAD I. Since the summer of 2025, at least, they have been involved in the supply of firearms and ammunition for the organization from Germany. Weapons were intended to be used by Hamas for murderous attacks on Israeli or Jewish institutions in Germany. During today’s arrests, various weapons were found, including an AK 47 and several pistols, as well as a significant amount of ammunition.

The defendants will be brought before the federal court investigator tomorrow (October 2, 2025), who will decide to issue a arrest warrant and execute the detention.
