True to their appointment with the young and old patients of the University General Hospital of Heraklion (PAGNI) and the Pediatric Clinic of the GNI “Venizelio-Pananeio” of Crete, firefighters distributed gifts and smiles again this year.
The firefighters, as flying Santa Clauses, “landed” from the Fire Brigade’s crane in the forecourts of the Venizeliou – Pananei hospital last night and today in PAGNI, and distributed gifts and smiles to hospitalized children and their families, as well as to every patient and hospital employee.
At the same time, the Mixed Choir of Greek Music of the Cultural Association of Agios Ioannis Hostos, under the direction of Argyros Reppas, sang Christmas songs, musically framing the event. The events were organized by the Regional Fire Administration of Crete and the Firefighters Association of Heraklion “Three Boys on the Road” who responded to the call of the 7th Ministry of Health of Crete.
