“KAE Lavrio Megabolt announces its agreement with the athlete Vassilis Muratos for his return to the team after 18 months.
Born on November 24, 1997, with a height of 1.93m, Vassilis plays as a point guard.
He returns to the team with which he experienced the best moments of his career. He returns to the team that with him experienced the best moments in its history, culminating in the participation in the finals of the Stoiximan Basket League, in the 2020-2021 season.
Vassilis Mouratos wore the shirt of Lavrio for three consecutive years and through his competitive presence with our team he managed to become an international player and last year to be the captain of the National Team, in the match against Serbia for the qualifiers of the 2023 World Cup.
Last year he played in Prometheus and averaged 6.5 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 25 games in the Stoiximan Basket League, while in the Eurocup he had 3.4 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 20 games.
This year he was at Apollon Patrons and in the first round of the championship he averaged 6.5 points, 2.7 rebounds, 5.3 assists and 1.7 steals.
His professional career started with Olympiakos, in the two years 2014-2016. He followed one year at Psychiko (A2) and then played at Hefaistos Limnos (2017-2018) and Peristeri (2018-2019) before his three-year stint at Lavrio (2019-2022).
