50-year-old father killed his 33-year-old brother-in-law because he had been raping his daughter for nine years – Police statement

The new crime that became known this morning is shocking.
The father of an 18-year-old girl in Volos killed his brother-in-law, when he learned that the latter had been raping his daughter for a number of years since the tender age of 9.
The new murder took place in Volos, when the perpetrator learned from his now adult daughter that her uncle – her mother’s brother – had been raping her since she was 9 years old.
The 18-year-old girl also revealed to her father that her 33-year-old uncle threatened her that he has in his possession videos and photos with the 18-year-old girl.
The perpetrator blurted out, took the hunting rifle and killed the 33-year-old in cold blood.
He was then handed over to the authorities.
In accordance with gegonota.newsthe 50-year-old father made a date with the 33-year-old on Tuesday night in the “Asteria” area of Agria, with an insignificant pretext.
According to the same information, when the two men met, a verbal dispute ensued and the father shot his 33-year-old brother-in-law, who was reportedly found with facial injuries and gunshot wounds to the chest, while the attacker’s carbine was found in pieces near the body.
The police authorities proceeded to confiscate the shotgun, while a forensic examination of the victim was ordered.

“A foreign man was arrested yesterday (09-01-2024) at the headquarters of the Security Sub-Directorate of Volos, against whom a case file was filed for intentional homicide and violation of weapons legislation.
In particular, yesterday evening, the perpetrator met with another foreign man in the area of Volos and under circumstances that are being investigated, the victim was fatally wounded by a shot from a shotgun carried by the perpetrator.
The perpetrator notified the police, while a short time later he presented himself and was arrested.
A shotgun and a cartridge were seized.
The arrested person, with the case filed against him, will be taken to the Criminal Prosecutor of Volos, while the preliminary investigation is carried out by the Volos Security Sub-Directorate”.
