The Board of Flogas decided the amount for the modernization of the therapeutic and diagnostic equipment in the two pediatric hospitals Agia Sofia and Aglaia Kyriakou
“Based on the threefold medical-psychological-social care, Floga serves with respect and responsibility the child suffering from cancer and his family. Thus, today, after 41 years of continuous action, it is the main pillar of public health support for children and adolescents with cancer”, notes the Board of Flogas on the occasion of thethe allocation of 1 million euros to the two pediatric hospitals of Athens, Agia Sofia and Aglaia Kyriakou.
“We are next to the families in various ways: Nursing at home, hosting families from the region, supporting public health where we identify needs. Our only goal is to win this very life and the health of our children.
The support of the world enables us to financially support the care of the child at all levels, and for this we must inform about the disposition of the donations we receive.
The Board of Flogas decided to allocate 1 million euros for the modernization of the therapeutic and diagnostic equipment in the two pediatric hospitals Agia Sofia and Aglaia Kyriakou, where the care of our children basically takes place.
We informed the Ministry of Health about this, with our letter to the Deputy Minister of Health, Mr. Marios Themistokleous, with notification to the Minister of Health, Mr. Adonis Georgiadis, and we await their proposals.”
