Ford renews its presence at the heart of the SUV segment with the most complete, capable, well-equipped and advanced Kuga ever
The new Ford Kuga comes powerfully with a series of significant upgrades across the board to ideally support all customers’ daily activities featuring an eye-catching design inside and out, the most intelligent and advanced driver assistance and connectivity technologies, ample passenger and luggage space and a complete range of powertrains that includes two hybrid versions and one gasoline engine.
Now, customers in Greece can to order the brand new Kuga not only in the versions powered by the acclaimed petrol engine Ford’s 1.5L EcoBoost 150PS which is combined with a 6-speed manual transmission, but also in those with the upgraded ones plug-in hybrids (PHEV) and full hybrid (FHEV) the company’s drive systems, which work together with a CVT automatic transmission and are the ideal stepping stone to pure electric propulsion.
In the Kuga Plug-In Hybrid, the 2.5-liter gasoline engine, electric motor, generator and 14.4 kWh lithium-ion battery deliver 243 horsepower, ensuring top performance and unparalleled levels of fuel and electricity economy. For its part, the also new Kuga Hybrid features a self-charging FHEV powertrain with all-electric capability, also with Ford’s 2.5-liter gasoline engine, electric motor, generator and battery. Here, customers can choose between two front- or all-wheel drive versions via the Ford Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system, which deliver 180PS and 183PS respectively.
The range of new Ford Kuga includes the richly equipped version Titaniumwhich is available with the 1.5L EcoBoost 150PS and 2.5L FHEV 180PS engines, as well as the even more complete and sporty ST-Line Xwhich is paired with the 2.5L FHEV 180PS, 2.5L FHEV 183PS AWD and 2.5L PHEV 243PS hybrid powertrains.
For the first time in the model’s history, the new Kuga is available in bolder styling and even more capable versions Active and ActiveX, with the former available with the 2.5L FHEV 180PS engine and the latter with the 2.5L FHEV 183PS AWD and 2.5L PHEV 243PS hybrid powertrains.
Orders for the new Ford Kuga are open from today, with deliveries of the first cars to customers for the PHEV and FHEV models starting in next April.
