The 39-year-old woman who stabbed the 43-year-old man in Chalkida received a deadline and will apologize before the investigator on Wednesday, January 24 for the brutal crime.
The woman appeared before the investigator shortly after 10 am on Sunday, for the brutal murder that has shocked Chalkida.
According to the latest information from evima.gr, the only thing the 39-year-old today asked the police is to see is her husband and her children.
Chalkida: “There was no sexual relationship between perpetrator and victim”
Victim and perpetrator knew each other for a long time, with the information from the family of the 43-year-old stating that the 39-year-old allegedly harassed the victim for a long time.
In fact, the 43-year-old and his wife, who were aware of the incidents of harassment, were thinking of filing an injunction against the 39-year-old.
“I’m devastated I knew this woman harassed my husband in the past, we never expected it to come to this,” the victim’s wife reportedly said.
The lawyer of the victim’s family, Athanasios Tartis, rejected the information about a romantic relationship between the 39-year-old and the 43-year-old, saying that “one thing is certain, that there was no romantic relationship between the perpetrator and the victim”.
The perpetrator has not yet testified, and we do not know what she will plead to the crime. “She’s shocked. She has not confessed her act. All she has asked of me is to protect her children,” said the 39-year-old’s lawyer, Themis Kontsilidis.
Tomorrow, Sunday (21/01), after 10:00 in the morning, the alleged perpetrator will be brought to justice.

Passers-by, hearing the man’s voices, rushed to the scene and immobilized the 39-year-old woman.
The woman was arrested a few minutes later and confessed to her heinous act.
The man was transported by EKAV ambulance to the city hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police received the first call at 7:55 a.m. from a neighbor. Two minutes after 8:00, men from the Dias team arrived at the spot where they saw the 43-year-old covered in blood and the 39-year-old next to the body, with blood on her clothes.
Next to the victim’s parked car, outside the driver’s door, a second knife with blood stains was found.
