A 43-year-old man was taken to the police stations, accused of sexual indecency, child pornography and solicitation of children for sexual reasons.
According to the announcement of EL.AS: “In particular, the 43-year-old, who lives in the area of Patrass, using a social networking application, he managed to get in contact with a minor with the ultimate aim of satisfying his sexual urges.
The minor, however, informed her father, who, impersonating her, arranged a meeting with the 43-year-old at a house in the area of Piraeus, where he was stopped by emergency police officers.
He was then taken to the Keratsini – Drapetsonas Security Department, where he was arrested while a rucksack containing sex aids – parts, as well as a data storage device (usb stick) with snapshots of the conversations with the minor, photos and videos of obscene content was confiscated.
From the subsequent investigations, carried out by police officers of the Patras Security Sub-Directorate at the house and his vehicle, among others, digital data storage devices with corresponding content were found and seized.
The seized devices were sent to the Criminal Investigation Department for examinationwhile the arrested person was taken to the competent prosecuting authority, he was referred to an Investigator and his imprisonment was ordered”.
