Consumers are requested to ensure that technical staff have access to the cash area of the property
It starts gradually count of benefits on a monthly basis – which and will be completed nationwide by the end of the first half of this year – as announced today by DEDDEE.
In this context, all consumers are requested to:
- Ensure that the technical staff of DEDDIE and the cooperating contracting companies will have access to the meter area of the property, in order to take a reading from the meter and then provide it to the Electricity Supplier chosen by the customer, for the issuance of a settlement account.
- In the event that it is not possible to receive the indication, all customers have the possibility to register the indication of the supply within four working days from the day of the meter’s visit to the property, in the following ways:
– By calling the DEDDIE Customer Service Center on the free line 800-400-4000
– Alternatively, they can register the indication on the DEDDIE website, at the link https://apps.deddie.gr/ccrWebapp/newccticket.html?type=8
– Through the My DEDDIE App from their mobile phone.
The Minister of Environment and Energy, Mr. Thodoros Skylakakisstated: “Our commitment to monthly counting of electricity consumption is being implemented. By starting, gradually, DEDDIE the counts all over Greece, it is expected that we will be led to a drastic reduction of rheumatic thefts. And this development, combined with the stimulation of competition between electricity providers, the further penetration of Renewable Energy Sources (RES) in our energy potential and the electrical interconnections of our islands, will have significant benefits for consumers, with the main the lowest electricity bills’.
