How can Greeks abroad over 60 digitally register their vaccination

The ability to digitally register it certificate or vaccination doses Greek citizens over 60 years of age who live permanently abroad and have a vaccination certificate that can not be verified digitally.

The process is very simple and can be completed:

These services are available to citizens who cumulatively meet the following conditions:

• are permanent residents abroad

• have been born until 31-12-1961

• do not belong to the Public Financial Service (DOU) of residents abroad and

• have a vaccination certificate / certificate from a country that is not participating in the European Digital COVID Certificate.

It is noted that by completing one of the two procedures described below, citizens over 60 are considered vaccinated (so they are not fined), but do not acquire the right to issue a certificate or vaccination certificate from Greece.

“Registration of vaccination doses outside Greece”

This is the new service implemented by the Ministries of Digital Government and Health, with the contribution of the National Network of Technology and Research Infrastructures (EDYTE SA – GRNET), a supervised body of the Ministry of Digital Government. The data of the citizens are obtained through the Interoperability Center of the General Secretariat of Information Systems of Public Administration.

The service is entered using Taxisnet codes. Then, the interested party enters his AMKA or PAKMA and attaches his certificate or the certificate of vaccination. The process is completed with the evaluation of the documents in the second year.

myKEPlive

The service was designed, developed and productively supported by the General Secretariat of Information Systems of Public Administration (GGPSDD) of the Ministry of Digital Government.

The process follows exactly the same steps as the other services provided through MyKEPlive. The only difference is that the requested supporting documents for the vaccination must have been sent before the scheduled video call. These supporting documents are:

• or a certificate in any language and a responsible statement

Or a certificate of vaccination in Greek or English.

On the day and time of the appointment, the interested party connects to the teleconference through the link sent to him and presents to the KEP employee the document for the identification of his data (his identity or his passport). After the identification, the employee examines the supporting documents that have been sent by the trader by email and proceeds to his registration in the Register of Vaccinated Abroad.

Please note that the service can also be used by a citizen who does not have personal Taxisnet codes. In this case, a third party from his family or friends who has Taxisnet codes can schedule the appointment.

It is reminded that Greek citizens who do not belong to the Tax Office for foreign residents and were vaccinated in a country participating in the European Digital Certificate COVID can register their vaccination doses at anagnorisi.emvolio.gov.gr.
