Two people were arrested in Loutraki, Corinthia aged 25 and 33, respectively, when after a police search, more than half a kilo of cannabis, 2 pistols and 256 firecrackers were found and confiscated, among other things

A case was filed against them for violating the laws on drugs, weapons and flares.

In particular, after a thorough police investigation conducted by the Loutraki Police Department, utilizing appropriate and combined evidence, it emerged that the above, at least for the last nine months, were active in the trafficking of narcotics, in Loutraki and Corinth.

As part of an organized police operation, in a search carried out in the home of the arrested, the following were found and seized:

· -2- pistols,

· -2- magazines,

· -1- improvised pistol,

· -94- miscellaneous cartridges,

· -20- Flaubert cartridges,

· -2- knives,

· -249- firecrackers,

· -7- improvised firecrackers,

· -22- jars and -9- packages, containing unequal amounts of cannabis with a total weight of -555.6- grams,

· -132- narcotic pills,

· amount of hemp seeds, total weight -37- grams,

· -1- precision scale

· -6- cannabis graters,

· a number of medium and small sized plastic bags,

· the sum of -1,700- euros, as derived from their criminal activity and

· -16- stone objects, possibly of archaeological origin.

The above confiscated stone objects will be sent to the Antiquities Tax Office of Corinth, in order to ascertain whether they fall under the protective provisions of the legislation “for the Protection of Antiquities and Cultural Heritage in general”.

Those arrested will be brought to the Court of First Instance of Corinth, while the police investigation and preliminary investigation work are carried out by the Loutraki Police Department.
