According to an announcement by COSMOTE, the problems that had arisen in the fixed and mobile telephony services in the regions of Kilkis, Serres, Kavala, Drama, Xanthi, Rodopi and Evros, as well as in Thassos, Samothraki and Limnos, were restored.

According to the company, the problems were caused by two main cables being cut in different places, affecting fixed and mobile services.

Due to the damage caused, the citizens of the affected areas had – until the damage was repaired – to call the number 112 if they wanted to contact the local emergency services immediately to provide any assistance and assistance.

COSMOTE informs that fixed and mobile telephony services have been restored in the prefectures of Kilkis, Serres, Kavala, Drama, Xanthi, Rodopi and Evros, as well as in Thassos, Samothraki and Limnos.

From the first moment, the company’s technicians were at both points where the central trunk cables were cut, making every effort to repair the damage.
