The registration will be done through the “Open Market” information system – What licenses does it concern
The registration of licensed professional street market sellers in the “Open Market” Integrated Information System begins in March (OPSAA).
The decision signed by the general secretary of Trade and Consumer Protection of the Ministry of Development, Sotiris Anagnostopoulos, is reported in the Integrated Information System “Open Market” of article 56 of Law 4849/2021 (A΄ 207) on open-air trade and the necessity to register therein, among others, all existing licensed professionals and producers of street market sellers.
What “permissions” is involved
According to an announcement by the Pannatic Federation of Professional Associations of Market Sellers, the “Open Market” Integrated Information System (OPSAA), which is accessed via the online address https://openmarket.mindev.gov.gr, lists the existing licensed sellers, i.e. those who obtained a license before the entry into force of Law 4849/2021, i.e. before February 1, 2022.
In particular, with regard to the professional sellers of the street markets, it states the following:
- Holders of professional street market seller licenses, which have not been abolished in accordance with the provisions of Law 4849/2021 or previous legislative framework.
Recording method
Licensed professional sellers will register their licenses at OPSAA, which they will enter through the online address https://openmarket.mindev.gov.gr with their TAXIS personal codes, according to the instructions in the user manual that will be posted on the system.
Registration in the permit system will be carried out per form of open-air trade, similarly for street markets, at specified time stages.
Registration of licenses of street market vendors
Professional market vendor license holders will register their licenses in the system from 15/03/2024 to 15/06/2024.
Finally, it is noted that, after the expiration of the above deadlines and any extensions, no one will be able to register in the permit system, so all colleagues should do so within the time frame set.
