GADA issued a confidential signal to police commanders for increased security measures in the shadow of recent terrorist threats and attacks, according to an exclusive report by Yannis Souliotis in SKAI.

In particular, the General Police Directorate of Attica issued a confidential order a few 24 hours ago to the heads of the police services of the basin calling on them to take increased measures for fear of new terrorist attacks.

This specific initiative comes in the wake of the attacks on the MAT headquarters in Goudi, the Ministry of Labor and more recently the Thessaloniki courthouse.

In the specific document that has been brought to the attention of SKAI, the commanders of the services are called for increased vigilance and readiness during the execution of their service. Also, police officers are asked to immediately report suspicious incidents that come to their attention, to carry out checks in parks and public spaces that are close to police services, as well as to check vehicles and pedestrians that they deem suspicious and move near police stations.
