Two young men, aged 25 and 29, were hiding more than 9.5 kilograms of raw cannabis in their home and were waiting for two more packages from the US
At arrest two of young age 25 and 29 years, for a violation of the legislation on addictive substances, police officers of the State Airport Narcotics Enforcement Department of the Thessaloniki Security Directorate, after an assignment they received from the Coordinating Body for Narcotics Enforcement.
In particular, at Athens Airport “Eleftherios Venizelos» two were identified parcelswhich contained a quantity of crude cannabis and which were sent by USAwith a final destination in Thessaloniki and an intermediate station in Athens, with the arrested persons as recipients.
From the service they were organized two police operationsduring which the two recipients, who and were arrested.
In investigations which were carried out on houses of them, in the presence of a judicial officer, a total of more than 9.5 kilos of raw cannabisthree graters, a plastic jar with drug residue, a small amount of cocaine and a precision electronic scale.
Additionally, at the 25-year-old’s home, his 23-year-old brother was located and arrested, against whom a separate case file was filed for possession of a small amount of raw cannabis.
Those arrested were taken to the competent judicial authority.
