According to information from GRTimes, the members of the Galatista Agricultural and Livestock Cooperative, although they started from the area of ​​Halkidiki to reach Thermi through a rural road network and dirt roads, some, such as the president of the Cooperative, did not manage to reach the meeting point. as a result, they were escorted back by the police.
“What really happened is a disgrace! While we were moving through dirt roads and the rural network so as not to get on the National Road and obstruct traffic or create problems, we were under surveillance throughout the route. Even in the fields. They would not let us cross from one side of the road to the other. Even so, some managed to reach Thermi. “I was escorted back by two patrol cars”, the president of the Galatista Agricultural Cooperative, Angelos Tsartsiaflis, told GRTimes.
