The accomplice of the foreign perpetrator has been identified and is being sought
He was arrestedon Sunday evening in the area of Agios Panteleimon, by police officers of the Security Department of Agios Panteleimon and the Security Department of Exarchia, 20 year old foreigner from Somaliaagainst whom a case file was filed for robbery and attempted rape with complicity and infidelity, while his accomplice was identified and is being sought.
In particular, according to the Police, in the early hours of 2-29-2024, the accused after entering a apartment in Exarchia, breaking through the balcony door, they found the tenant, the immobilized and asked her to hand over her jewelry to them.
Subsequently, the perpetrators attempted to commit acts against sexual freedom against the resident, however she he resistedcalling for help and after removing a sum of money, valuables and various personal belongings, they fled.
The Police managed, after utilizing information and gathering evidence, to identify the perpetrators.
On Sunday, the 20-year-old man was found and stopped by the police, despite his attempt to escape.
The arrested person, with the file filed against him, was taken to the Criminal Prosecutor of Athens.
