Its headquarters Greek Police decided to extend the operating hours in 81 ID Offices throughout the country, with the aim of providing more efficient and faster service to citizens for the issuance of the new type of identity card.

The new schedule will be implemented from March 19.

The ID Offices in the specific 81 police Services will now operate with extended hours throughout the week, excluding Sundays and official holidays, namely:

• Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 21:00 during the summer season and respectively 07:30 to 21:30 during the winter season, and

• Saturday from 08:30 to 17:30.

The ID Offices of the other Services continue to operate from 07:00 to 14:30 in the summer season and from 07:30 to 15:00 in the winter season, on all working days of the week, except Wednesdays, which operate from 14 :00 to 20:30 and Saturdays operating from 08:30 to 13:00.

Furthermore, in the event that a citizen wishes to reschedule or cancel an appointment, he should enter his e-mail and in the “email” sent to him when booking the appointment select “Reschedule” and then “New Schedule” or “Cancel booking”. This process will be available for all of the following Services on March 16, 2024.
