3 admissions were made (2 foreigners and 1 citizen), two of which were 2 students and one girl
A police operation was carried out early this morning in the Zografou Campus and in particular in the Student Residences, as part of a preliminary investigation into the latest arsons in the area.
Police officers from the MAT and OPKE participated in the operation, while the searches in the campus buildings were carried out by security men.
As part of the operation, 3 arrests were made (2 foreigners and 1 citizen, two of them students and one girl) while a number of “war weapons” were found in the areas and rooms of the hostel.
According to the police, the following were found and confiscated in the places searched:
• 27 empty beer bottles,
• 11 bats,
• 4 flash bang grenades,
• 2 chemical tear gas grenades,
• 5 helmets,
• mask,
• 2 full face hoods,
• laptops,
• micro camera,
• burned Greek flag,
• pair of gloves,
• 3 banners and
• a multitude of handwritten notes and forms of anarchist content.
