The 49 people who were arrested on Saturday, during the police operation at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, arrived at the Thessaloniki Courthouse shortly after 12 and accompanied by a strong police force.

Those arrested following the criminal charges brought against them by the public prosecutor will be tried today at the Three-member Criminal Court of Thessaloniki, with spontaneous process.

The public prosecutor brought criminal charges against all those arrested for seriously disrupting the orderly operation of a public service and also for disloyalty to 48 of the 49 because they refused to give fingerprints.

According to the information, a separate investigation has been ordered for the weapons and flares that were found and included in the file of the Hellenic Police.
