His administration Electronic National Social Security Agency (e-EFKA) announced that it is working on the necessary configuration / adjustment of the electronic sickness benefit application, so that in the near future it can be granted electronics the Special permitdue covid-19, of the employees of the private sector for a period of five working days, with proof of a positive diagnostic test, according to the respective health protocols, in the context of application of the provisions of article 62 of law 4886/2022 (A ’12) and no. 6924 / 27.1.2022 (ΒΔ 291) of ministerial decision.
In its announcement, e-EFKA reminds that the beneficiaries are:
1. Private sector employees with a contract of employment, in case of corneal disease, with a positive diagnostic test, if they did not provide teleworking.
2. The special leave may be extended as a joint sick leave, only after medical advice.
3. The beneficiary can submit a request to e-EFKA for cash benefits within eight months of the event.
“Therefore, there is no cause for concern for those beneficiaries who are still unable to submit a request to the e-EFKA. They will be able to submit it from March 8the date on which the specific configuration of the electronic sickness benefit application will be completed “, the body clarifies.
