Food lovers can organize their April calendar, as this Friday, the 5th, the second edition of the São Paulo Gastronomic Tour begins. To promote national cheeses, chefs were challenged to create new dishes that mixed the identity of their restaurants with some selected cheese. The results bring traditional recipes, with pasta, and innovative dishes, such as desserts.

Among the participating establishments is Selvagem, located in Ibirapuera Park, which offers a special bruschetta with Cangalha cheese, from Queijaria Santa Vitória. Located in Copan, Cuia, a restaurant by chef Bel Coelho, joins the itinerary with banana gnocchi with artisan Minas cheese, from Queijaria Santa Clara, in chestnut sauce.

The traditional La Casserole, a French bistro founded in 1954, is also part of the Gastronomic Route, offering a special cheese board. The new Cora, opened in 2021, innovates, bringing a dessert: iced alfajor made with biscuits, creamy guava paste, Canastra Cordilheira cheese gelato, from Quinta de Sant’Ana Queijaria e Cia, with cheese shavings.
