The 40-year-old kicked and threatened his wife while she had taken their 13-year-old child to the hospital
The “war” of a couple was transferred to the corridors of the pediatric clinic of the Volos Hospital, the night before yesterday.
The mother, who has custody of their child, took their 13-year-old daughter to the hospital, after feeling unwell and the father appeared at the Pediatrics, against whom he has filed a restraining order to prevent her from approaching her.
According to gegonotanews.gr, the 40-year-old blamed her for not informing him about the child’s illness and, according to the woman’s testimony, threatened to “kill and burn her”, while kicking her.
There was pandemonium in the clinic and the employees of the security company were called from the entrance of the Hospital to remove him. He wouldn’t leave and the mother called the police where she reported him for assault, threats, verbal abuse and violation of the restraining order.
Doctors and nurses told the father to calm down and leave, but he continued to cause a ruckus and when the police showed up, he was arrested and spent the night in the detention center. Yesterday he was taken to Autoforo where he requested a deadline to be tried today. Until today at noon when he will be tried, he remains a prisoner, as the court decided.
