Within the first three days that the platform for branded complaints about bullying has been put into operation (stop-bullying.gov.gr) more than 20 complaints have been made, Deputy Minister of Education Zeta Makri stressed to SKAI 100.3.
He noted that with named complaints, the complainant can be informed about the progress of the case, while false complaints are avoided.
Mrs. Makri explained that when a complaint is made a specific protocol is activated by properly trained people.
Answering a question about whether the penalty has been activated a teenager’s family pays for the damages that may cause to the school, he noted that this has not yet been done, clarifying that a procedure must first be carried out in order to ascertain the damage and then to make the collection.
To submit a named report:
- The following have the right to access the platform for submitting branded reports:
- parents and those who have custody of students attending primary and secondary education, and
- students attending secondary education.
- Each user’s access to the platform is ensured by the use of individual login codes. The certification of the students is done through the credentials (username and password) they have in the list of members of the Panhellenic School Network (P.S.D.).
- The certification of the parents and those who have custody of the students is done through the credentials they have at the General Secretariat of Public Administration Information Systems (Taxis).
