He is under the “microscope” of the police authorities the explosion outside the Premiera nightclub in the Paleon district, in Volos, shortly after 11 o’clock on Monday night.

Fortunately, the store was closed and there was no traffic or parked cars at the scene at the time, resulting in no injuries, only property damage to the nightclub, a clothing store across the street and a boat business next door.

Already the remains of the explosion have been sent for analysis to the Directorate of Criminal Investigations, while the authorities examine whether it is a settlement of accounts or a warning strike and make inquiries to identify the perpetrator or perpetrators.

From the information available, the explosion seems to have come from dynamite, as the sound was so loud that it was heard even in the center of Volos, while those who went to the scene in the first moments seem to claim that there was a strong smell of gunpowder. It is also characteristic that no fire broke out after the explosion, which excludes the possibility that gas cylinders were ignited, which also do not make that much noise.

The dynamite allegedly fell on the street in front of the night club, probably from a passing vehicle and from the shock wave of the explosion, it broke both the glass of the entertainment center and the clothing store, which is located on the opposite side of the street.

Cross-referenced information states that the Police are processing video material in which two people can be seen who were riding a bicycle and passing by threw the explosive from the entertainment center.
