The foreign father’s complaint of sexual abuse of his 10-year-old child is confirmed with other testimonies
The issue with the employee of the Ministry of Culture in Nisyros, who was reported for sexual abuse of a minor, is spreading.
More than six children appear to be the alleged victims of sexual abuse by the 50-year-old archeologist as, after the foreign father’s complaint of neglect against his 10-year-old child was made public, other children are reported to have come forward and reported abuse.
According to the SKAI report presented on the show “Mismatches”, the father complained that his 10-year-old child was sexually abused.
The police maintain that the incident was reported at a later time and for this reason the self-immolation procedure was not initiated for the alleged perpetrator. The child’s parents are also facing deportation, as their relevant documents have expired.
“The children started talking”
The director of Nisyros High School, Yiannis Koulakis, speaking today to ERT South Aegean, said that among the alleged victims are also children, high school students.
“They overcame fears and shames and started talking,” he said, noting that they are facing the truth and facing it.
A team with a psychologist and a social worker has been on the island since yesterday and is talking with parents and children.
Meanwhile, the 50-year-old antiquities guard accused of insulting the genital dignity of a minor boy in Nisyros was suspended by the decision of the Minister of Culture, Linas Mendoni.
At the same time, an administrative investigation was ordered against him. The case is being investigated by the Police and Prosecutor’s Offices.
