The arrangements are expected to affect traffic from 5 pm on Friday until the end of the event on the Ardittos – Vasileos Konstantinou axis.
Traffic regulations will be implemented today Thursday and tomorrow Friday in Athens due to the events for the delivery – reception of the Olympic Flame in the context of the Olympic Games that will take place this year in Paris.
The arrangements are expected to affect traffic from 5 pm on Friday until the end of the event on the Ardittos – Vasileos Konstantinou axis.
In detail, it will take place complete stoppage of vehicular trafficas well as a ban on stopping and parking them, (with the exception of the vehicles that will participate in the torch relay), on the following streets in the Municipality of Athens, as follows:
During the hours 00:01 on Thursday 25-4-2024 until 22:00 on Friday 26-4-2024:
- Archimedes, in its section from Plastira Square to Dikarchou Street.
During the hours 00:01 to 22:00 of Friday 26-4-2024:
- Euphoric, throughout.
- Karaiskaki Square (Diskovolos).
- During the hours of 17:00 on Friday 26-4-2024, until the end of the event:
- Vas. Kon/nou Avenue, in its section from Vas. Sofias Avenue to Ardittou Street and in both traffic streams.
- Arditto, along its entire length in both traffic streams, as well as its perpendiculars, up to the first parallel street.
- Date Atticus, along its entire length.
EL.AS appeals to vehicle drivers to avoid driving and stopping and parking their vehicles along the mentioned routes of the Olympic Torch Relay and to follow the signals of the traffic controllers.
