We traveled to Vienna and witnessed up close both Audi’s new and highly advanced technologies and the German brand’s fresh design approach. At the same time, Audi presented us with the all-new Q6 e-tron, which is the first model based on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE). It is worth noting that the development of the platform was done in collaboration with Porsche.

At the Audi House of Progress we met Mr. Philippe Bornert, Product Marketing for the Q6 e-tron, who talked about the car and what we can expect in the future.

Compared to the Audi Q6 e-tron, it has a length of 4.77 m, a width of 1.99 m, a height of 1.65 m and a wheelbase of 2,899 mm. The electric SUV offers comfortable spaces for 5 passengers and their luggage, with the trunk having a capacity of 526 liters. If the backs of the second row of seats are folded down, the space for luggage rises to 1,529 L, while there are an additional 64 liters under the hood.

A lithium-ion battery powers the SUV that weighs 570 kg and consists of 12 modules, has a capacity of 100 kWh (94.9 kWh useful) and offers a range of up to 625 km. Charging can be done with a power of up to 270 kW and this means that within 10 minutes of rapid charging it can acquire a range of 255 km.

The two electric motors (one on each axle) produce a total of 387 hp, with 0-100 km/h in 5.9 sec. and the top speed reaches 210 km/h. Of course, the range also includes the explosive SQ6 e-tron version with 517 hp (4.3 sec for 0-100 km/h and 230 km/h top speed).

The new Audi Q6 e-tron of 387 hp is already available to order in Greece, in the Base equipment version, with an initial price of 83,980 euros. The first cars are expected in our country in the summer.
