The protection of minors, the prevention and prevention of any form of violence and delinquency against them, is a key priority for the Ministry of Citizen Protection and the Greek Police.

The hotline is the beginning of a radical change in the way a child, a parent, but also a citizen in general, can report an incident of violence and delinquency, of any form, against minors.

Particularly:

-The new phone line will operate 24 hours, 7 days, in the whole country.
-Its mission is to receive complaints, centrally manage incidents and provide information and advice.
-Its main offer is the immediate and unified response to all incidents of violence and delinquency among minors.

In addition, next time a special application will also be activated, which has as its main objective both the awareness of minors about violence and delinquency, as well as encouraging them to report incidents and ask for help, through an easy-to-use form.

On the occasion of the activation of the five-digit telephone line, the Minister of Citizen Protection, Michalis Chrysochoidis stated: “The protection of minors is one of our main priorities at the Ministry and at the Hellenic Police. As we promised, a new telephone line is available to citizens from today. 10201. It is a line that will operate every day, 24 hours, nationwide. Specialized and properly trained staff of the Juvenile Protection Sub-Directorate will manage the complaints, immediately mobilize the services according to the need, but also provide advice to children and parents.
