Executives of the Narcotics Prosecution Office of the Central Port Authority of Kavala yesterday arrested three nationals on a case-by-case basis, for possession of narcotics and weapons.
The three arrested, aged 38, 30 and 28, during a check at the city’s port, were found with a quantity of cannabis, while a check followed at their homes where weapons were found.
According to the Port Authority, during the investigations the following were found:
Total amount of raw hemp seedling clones gross weight 341.40 grams
-One package of raw cannabis with a gross weight of 1.3 grams
-A metal grater with the remains of raw cannabis
-Two precision scales with raw hemp residue
-Ten tablets of alprazolam active substance, without medical prescription
-Hydroponic Cannabis Seedling Cultivation Equipment, Consisting of Vent Pipe, Mirror Lamp, Power Adapter, Air Purifying Filter, Ballade, Power Timer and Hydroponic Reflector
-A black rifle with a scope and 12 cal.357 cartridges
-A dark brown rifle of unknown caliber
-A 9mm pistol with tampered evidence, with ten 9mm cal cartridges and one magazine
-‘A 5.5mm caliber air gun with tampered evidence, along with a scope.
The Central Port Authority of Kavala, which is conducting the preliminary investigation, seized all the above found items as well as two mobile telephone devices.
