Unsettled weather starts the day – When and in which areas will there be an improvement
Clouds with local rains in the central and southern Aegean, eastern Sterea and Evia. Soon the phenomena in most areas will stop and only in Crete will they continue until the afternoon hours. In the rest of the areas, few clouds, temporarily increased in places in the continental areas in the midday and afternoon hours, so sporadic rains are likely to occur in the mountains.
Winds to the west will be north northwest 4 to 6 Beaufort but will quickly weaken and become variable 3 to 4 Beaufort. In the east, winds will blow from north directions 4 to 6 and in the Aegean temporarily local 7 Beaufort.
The temperature will rise mainly in the Ionian and mainland and will reach 23 to 25 degrees in the Ionian, continental and Dodecanese and in the rest of the island country 20 to 22 degrees Celsius.
MACEDONIA, THRACE
Weather: In eastern Macedonia and Thrace a few clouds which in the early morning hours will be increased and there will be local rains and possibly isolated storms. In the rest of the areas, it will be generally clear and only in the midday and afternoon hours will local clouds develop and it is possible that rain will occur in the mountains.
Winds: Variable 3 to 4 and in the east northeast 4 to 5 and in the morning hours locally 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 09 to 24 degrees Celsius. In western Macedonia and Thrace the maximum will be 2 to 3 degrees lower.
IONIAN ISLANDS, EPIROS, WEST STEREA, WEST PELOPONNISOS
Weather: Generally clear and only in the midday and afternoon hours will local clouds develop and it is possible that rain will occur in the mountains.
Winds: Variable 3 to 4 and in the Ionian in the morning hours north northwest locally 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 10 to 25 degrees Celsius. In the interior of Epirus the maximum will be 3 to 4 degrees lower.
EASTERN STEREA, EVIA, EASTERN PELOPONNISOS
Weather: In the eastern Peloponnese, a few locally increased clouds in the early hours of the morning. In the rest of the areas cloudy with a few local rains and improvement from noon.
Winds: Northerly 4 to 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 13 to 25 degrees Celsius.
CYCLADES, CRETE
Weather: Local clouds with generally light rains which from noon will be limited to Crete. A gradual improvement of the weather in Crete is expected from the afternoon.
Winds: From north directions 5 to 6 and in the Cyclades in the morning local 7 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 14 to 22 degrees Celsius.
EAST AEGEAN ISLANDS – DODECANISE
Weather: A few clouds locally increased in the morning hours so there will be sporadic rains and in the south possibly isolated storms.
Winds: Northerly 5 to 7 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 14 to 22 degrees Celsius.
THESSALY
Weather: In the prefecture of Magnesia and the Sporades, a few locally increased clouds in the early hours of the morning, when local rains will occur. In the rest of the areas, it will be generally clear and only in the midday and afternoon hours will local clouds develop and it is possible that rain will occur in the mountains.
Winds: Variable 3 to 4 and in the east northeast 5 and in the early hours to 6 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 10 to 24 degrees Celsius.
ATTICA
Weather: A few clouds temporarily increased mainly in the east and north with local light rains and from noon generally clear.
Winds: North northeast 4 to 5 and in the east 6 possibly temporary local 7 Beaufort with gradual weakening from the afternoon.
Temperature: From 14 to 23 degrees Celsius.
THESSALONIKI
Weather: Generally clear and only in the midday and afternoon hours will local clouds develop and it is possible that rain will occur in the surrounding mountains.
Winds: Variable 3 to 4 and noon – afternoon south southeast to 5 Beaufort.
Temperature: From 13 to 21 degrees Celsius.
FORECAST FOR EASTER MONDAY 06-05-2024
Generally clear weather and only on the mainland in the midday and afternoon hours clouds will develop and mainly in the mountains there will be localized rain and in the north possibly isolated storms.
The winds will be variable 3 to 4 Beaufort and only in the Aegean they will blow from north directions 4 to 5 and in the south locally 6 Beaufort.
The temperature will rise slightly and reach 23 to 25 degrees and in the eastern continental parts 26 to 27 degrees Celsius.
FORECAST FOR TUESDAY 07-05-2024
Generally clear weather with sparse clouds at times which in the northern continental areas in the midday and afternoon hours will temporarily thicken and local rain and possibly isolated storms will occur in the mountains.
The winds will be variable 3 to 4 and only in the southern seas will blow from western directions locally 5 Beaufort.
The temperature will rise slightly further.
FORECAST FOR WEDNESDAY 08-05-2024
Sparse clouds in places denser in the Ionian and continental areas and from midday there will be local rains or showers mainly in the continental areas where isolated storms will occur.
The winds will be variable 3 to 4 and only in the Aegean will blow from southerly directions locally at 5 Beaufort.
The temperature will not change appreciably.
FORECAST FOR THURSDAY 09-05-2024
In the Ionian and continental clouds temporarily increased with local rains and mainly in the midday and afternoon hours sporadic storms. In the rest of the areas, a few clouds that will increase in the evening hours and there will be local rains.
The winds will be variable 3 to 4 and on the seas they will blow from southerly directions locally at 5 Beaufort.
The temperature will drop slightly mainly in the west and north.
