According to information, the ship, which no longer appears to have a flame except dense smoke, was towed yesterday from the sea area of ​​Kassiopi north of Corfu outside the specific port of Etoloakarnania, as the Fire Service had informed the Ministry of Shipping that they were exhausted. the operational search and rescue capabilities in the north of Corfu and had requested its relocation to a safe port, in order for the operations of EMAK executives to continue smoothly with the maximum possible security.
At the point where the ship is located there are three tugs and a boat of the Fire Service to be able to help if there is a resurgence.
