The police handcuffed a 74-year-old man who was filming a minor on a bus.
The incident occurred last Saturday afternoon, when a 14-year-old girl together with her also underage brother were on a bus traveling the route Kifissia – Kryoneri. At one point an unknown elderly man approached her and started making flattering comments, focusing in particular on one part of her body.
The 14-year-old realized that this man was in a strange mood and started to move away from the scene, while later she realized that the man took out his mobile phone and was recording her in videos and photos.
The children informed the bus driver, who stopped the vehicle in the area of ​​Ekali. He left the doors closed and called the police. Men from the DIAS team arrived at the scene and brought the old man in.
A search of his mobile phone followed, where it was found that he had taken a 39-second video and at least three photos of the minor on the bus, focusing even on controversial parts of her body.
The phone was confiscated, as was a second one he had on him. Both have been sent to ELAS forensic laboratories for analysis.
