Martyrdom death for a young woman mother and two young children of, aged 7 and 11, from the fire that broke out in the house they lived in Thessaloniki.

With the father missing for work, the three of them were alone at home, unable to escape.

The fallen roof overwhelmed them and as the Firefighters who entered found out, both the mother and the children were charred.

The fire started, according to information, from a radiator in the open area of ​​the living room and the bedroom and the unfortunate mother and the children were trapped from the first minutes. According to locals, the family recently bought the house, an old house, renovated it and lived in the neighborhood since last summer.

“We are shocked. We were warned that we were burning from the neighborhood. We went outside and saw the whole house, right next door, burning. “I was scared, the flames were very big”, says a resident of the area and excitedly adds: “the firefighters found the mother and the children inside charred”.

Early in the morning, HEDNO crews are at the scene, as the power outage was interrupted by the fire. They install a new power pole because the one outside the house burned down. According to the workshop, the electricity supply in the area has already been restored.
