Following the notam published earlier today, Thursday, on the ban on flights in the airspace of Ukraine, the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) announces the issuance of a new supplementary aviation directive (notam), on the ban on the passage of civil aircraft in its airspace. Moldova and Belarus.
The new supplementary notam provides for the following:
* All civilian aircraft are prohibited from entering the airspace (FIR) of Moldova and Belarus due to the high risk of military activity continuing in the wider region.
* It is recalled that there is a ban on civil aviation flights (FIR) in Ukraine and a recommendation to avoid flights in the airspace (FIR) located on the border between Ukraine and Russia.
The previous notam provides the following:
– Civil aircraft are prohibited from entering the entire airspace (FIR) of Ukraine.
Due to the high risk, it is recommended to avoid all civil aircraft crossings from the airspace (FIR) located on the border between Ukraine and Russia.
The aviation directive is valid for three months and is valid from today, Thursday, February 24, 2022 until Tuesday, May 24, 2022.
Like the previous aviation directive, the new one has a three-month duration and is valid from today Thursday 24 February 2022 until Tuesday 24 May 2022.
