Tomorrow, Friday 31 May, the online platform opens A21 – Child Benefitaccording to the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family and OPECA.

Beneficiaries of the Child Benefit can submit their application on the IDIKA platform, www.idika.gr or through the website, www.opeka.gr using their personal access codes to Taxisnet.

The entitled amount will be calculated based on dependent children which will be declared in the application A21 year 2024 and the total family income that the beneficiaries had in the tax year 2022.

After the submission of the current year’s Income Tax Return, the income of the tax year 2023 will be taken into account for the calculation of the entitled amount.

Among the conditions that will be checked for the granting of the child allowance are: the attendance of the dependent children in thecompulsory education – from pre-kindergarten to high school – as well as academic proficiency.

In the application A21 must be registered necessarily in the relevant fields:

– the details of the School Unit,

– the class and the Registration Number of the child attending compulsory education.

If all of the student’s information is cross-referenced, the application can proceed normally. If they do not cross, a relevant marking appears and the applicant is requested to attach the necessary supporting documents to the electronic application A21.

In order to complete the application, it must be finally submitted and approved. A cached application is considered unsubmitted and will not be considered.
